JACKMAN SASHIKO UF JACKET IRON NAVY

JACKMAN SASHIKO UF JACKET IRON NAVY

In Japan, in the early 1920s, "sashiko"stitched fabric was used as the base cloth for first to third base. In order to reproduce this, jackman commissioned a martial arts equipment manufacturer established in 1918 to complete a "sashiko" fabric woven on a special loom using No. 20 cotton yarn twisted to the limit in order to produce a distinctly uneven surface. The fabric is then paraffin-waxed and bio-washed to soften the texture for easy wear.
